Please do yourself a favor and stop dreaming about a business that makes you money without investing in it, ok?
So what do you need to get started?
Your domain is your home address on the web, where your potential customers or clients can find you, your services and products. Costs: $2.95 – 8.95 sometimes more, per domain name. Look for domains with the .com extension first, but you can use as well .co, .info, .org, .biz extensions. What domain extension you choose may impact on your rankings: using other extensions than .com means that you will have to do some more work on the on-page and off-page SEO for your site.
Your domain needs to be hosted by a company like Hostgator, Brainhost, Bluehost etc. and this hosting may cost around $20 per month, depending on the package you choose. That’s why it is a bit difficult to give you some exact prices here…
You’ve heard that “the money is in the list”, so you will want to get subscribers and build your own list to promote your products and services to. The most recommended autoresponders are AWeber and Getresponse, for about $20 per month.
4. Optional Services
When you think of backlinking, SEO and advertising, courses to get the skills you need, software, etc. you will have additional expenses to cover. And when your business starts growing, these expenses will be quickly around $300 per month without big promotions or paid advertising.
