In today’s post I’d like to share with you some thoughts about clarity and purpose. I’ve got the idea after watching this video:
From the Youtube video:
“A quick video by Tony Robbins with a topic on Clarity and Purpose. This video (is) very motivational and inspiring. I am using the information and material presented to enhance my own goals and plans. I am very positive it will help you also. I just wanted to share the information with you all. You may use this video and info to set specific goals and plans to do whatever you want to do.”
To be clear about your plans and goals means to be able to make a difference between what you SHOULD do and what you MUST do to attain them. In other words, if you go on with your SHOULDs it may happen that you’ll never get what you’re aiming for. That’s why it is important to focus on the role of clarity and purpose in business as well as in life.
Look at these examples:
I should do more exercising… If you want to lose weight you MUST exercise!
I should spend more time with my loved ones… If you want to do that you MUST make some changes
– in your job or business
– in your life to HAVE more time to spend with your loved ones.
I should know more about marketing online before starting my own business… Yes, and therefore you MUST learn how to do it the right way!
Also, try to answer these questions:
What’s the purpose of your life?
Did you find what you’d been looking for?
If not, what exactly are you looking for?
Why do you do what you do?
Clarity and Purpose is Power
Many people don’t understand why they must address clear and specific questions. So… why are targeted, specific questions so important, why is clarity and purpose “power”? Here is an example:
Let’s say you want to earn more. How much more do you want to earn? Wanna become the next millionaire? Start by way smaller steps… Do you want to make 80,000 per year? Hmmm… Smaller steps, please.
Do you want to make additional $500 per month? OK. Let’s stay with that. Break it down in smaller steps… How much do you need to make per week, how much per day, to get to the additional $500 per month on a consistent basis? As soon as you’re clear about how much you must make per day to attain your goal, you’re brain immediately starts working on how to get there. That’s what makes clarity so powerful. That’s why you must be very clear, very specific in your questions.
Tony Robbins says:
“Teach your brain what is most important to you and your brain will go after it.”
Let Clarity and Purpose lead you
Always keep in mind Tony’s words:
“Life will pay whatever price you’ll ask of it!”
So let clarity and purpose lead you whatever question you ask yourself or others.
